Central Coast company ClockOn will almost triple its workforce and has its sights on global markets as part of a new growth strategy supported by the NSW Government.
Member of the Legislative Council, Taylor Martin MLC, said the NSW Government-backed Jobs for NSW had assisted the Umina-based company’s expansion plans with a $400,000 interest free Regional Growth Loan.
'ClockOn is a fantastic example of how the Government is supporting enterprising businesses on the Central Coast.
'ClockOn helps other companies simplify and automate their rostering, time attendance and payroll systems with a subscription-based software platform – meaning they can potentially service any company in the world.
'The Regional Growth Loan was granted to allow ClockOn to grow from 8.5 fulltime equivalent (FTE) positions to 25 FTE positions. At the moment ClockOn has 14 FTE positions but has a goal to reach 30 FTE positions including software developers, and digital sales and marketing positions.'
ClockOn says its online payroll and attendance system helps companies save time and money at the same time as improving compliance and data accuracy. It includes a "rule manager" allowing payrolls to be customised to individual employees and their unique awards across a wide range of industries.
ClockOn CEO LNV Samy said the company has grown a solid base of 390 clients and 23,000 users across Australia, including pharmaceutical companies, dentists and medical centres, hotel and clubs, and supermarkets.
'The assistance from Jobs for NSW has allowed us to enhance our products to meet market demand and accelerate our growth.
'By developing our digital sales and marketing team we will be able to increase our presence in interstate and overseas markets and grow our customer base.'
'With the Jobs for NSW support, ClockOn will look to develop partnerships with other key industries to develop more export opportunities. We aim to target overseas markets including the United Kingdom, United States and India.'
Deputy Premier and Minister for Small Business John Barilaro said interest-free Regional Growth Loans help fast growth SMEs create jobs in regional NSW.
'Jobs for NSW is not about giving out handouts but rather making smart investments that allow good business ideas and good businesses to grow.'
