Jobs for NSW is supporting and expanding the startup ecosystem across NSW through grants for high-potential new businesses and partnerships with incubators and accelerators.

How Jobs for NSW helps startups

NSW is Australia’s startup capital, with nearly half of our nation’s startup businesses calling Sydney home. Jobs for NSW is focused on building a strong and supportive ecosystem for startups. We want to help them thrive and prosper, and become the job-creating power-houses of the future.

To achieve this, we’re offering grants to promising startups, as well as support for accelerators and incubators that help NSW startups find their feet.

Grants for promising startups

Two types of grants are available:

  • Minimum Viable Product Grants are for promising startups that are not yet generating revenue. Grants of up to $25,000 are available to help startups gather feedback from customers and test business models.
  • Building Partnership Grants are for startups that are already generating revenue. Grants of up to $100,000 are available to fund partnerships or projects that will accelerate market adoption.

Support for accelerators and incubators

This is why Jobs for NSW is developing partnerships with accelerators and incubators – the places where startups get business support, mentorship and guidance.

If you own or work for an accelerator or incubator, find out how you can partner with Jobs for NSW to support startups across NSW.
