Western Sydney Investment Attraction Fund
NSW Government support for Western Sydney
Western Sydney is one of the fastest growing regions in Australia, with huge economic potential over the next 10 to 20 years. At the centre of this potential is a new city, with 200,000 new jobs supported by the construction of the new Western Sydney Airport, and the new $740 million health, research and education precinct in Liverpool.
The Western Sydney Investment Attraction Fund is a $5 million investment by the NSW Government that will supercharge fast-growing small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in Western Sydney and attract new high-value knowledge-based jobs and investment to the region.
This initiative supports the NSW Government’s longer-term plans for the region as outlined in the Western Sydney City Deal, the Greater Sydney Commission’s Western City District Plan, and the Western Sydney Aerotropolis.
Additionally, Jobs for NSW has launched a pilot program focused on the Westmead Precinct and Liverpool Health & Education Cluster to support accelerating high value knowledge job creation. Find out more about our pilot Cluster Programs.
